Standard Boiler Service

A boiler service is a routine maintenance check designed to ensure your boiler is running efficiently and safely. During a service, the engineer inspects, cleans, and tests the boiler to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. This includes cleaning of key parts like the burner and heat exchanger, testing the flue for safe emissions, and checking the gas pressure to ensure it's at the correct level. They will also inspect safety devices, seals, and controls to ensure everything is in good working order. Where applicable, the system filter will also be cleaned and the vessel repressurised.

However, if any fault diagnosis or repairs are needed, these are typically not covered as part of the service and may require additional work with separate charges. The primary purpose of a boiler service is preventative maintenance, not fault rectification, so it's essential to make us aware of any known problems at the time of booking so that sufficient resources can be allocated to the job.
